PDDTJ Priority 8 — STEP scheme: loans with a grant for critical technologies in 6 counties

Companies in Gorj, Hunedoara, Dolj, Galați, Prahova and Mureș that invest in critical STEP technologies can take out loans of between 300,000 and 50 million euro. 70% of the loan carries zero interest, and up to 50% of the amount can be written off once the investment is completed.

Just Transition — investments for SMEs in the Jiu Valley ITI and Mureș county (relaunch)

Grants of 300,000–5,000,000 euro (Jiu Valley) or 300,000–8,000,000 euro (Mureș) for productive investments by SMEs that create jobs. The relaunched call closed on 28 February 2026; no new call window has been announced.

West Regional Programme 2021-2027 — Intervention 1.3.B "Support for SMEs" (call PRV/1.3.B/1)

Call PRV/1.3.B/1 offered 41.25 million euro in non-refundable funding to SMEs in Arad, Caraș-Severin, Hunedoara and Timiș: 300,000–4 million euro for production, 200,000–1 million euro for services. Submission closed on 30 September 2024 and no new call window has been announced.
