Who can apply
PFAs, individual and family businesses, commercial companies, micro-enterprises and small enterprises whose legal representative is a woman or a young person aged 18 to 30 (not yet 30 at the time of submission). The registered office or place of business must be within the LAG territory, and the activity must be carried out there. The company must not previously have carried out the activity for which it is requesting funding. LAG Lunca Mureșului de Jos territory (these localities only): Dorobanți, Fântânele, Felnac, Frumușeni, Iratoșu, Peregu Mare, Șagu, Secusigiu, Șeitin, Semlac, Vinga, Vladimirescu, Zăbrani, Zădăreni, Nădlac, Pecica, Orțișoara, Pișchia, Sânpetru Mare, Variaș.

When are projects submitted for Intervention 4 at LAG Lunca Mureșului de Jos?
Submission opens on 13 November 2026 at 09:00 and closes on 12 December 2026 at 23:59. Applications are submitted online only, on the AFIR platform for LEADER. The call window may close earlier if it exceeds 200% of the allocation, after the first 5 days.
How much can you obtain per project?
The guide provides for 20,000 euro for services and 30,000 euro for production and tourism, at 100% non-refundable, as a lump sum. The PDF announcement states 20,000 euro, while the web page states 60,000 euro, so the value must be confirmed with the LAG. Payment is made 70% at contracting and 30% on completion of the business plan.
Who can apply?
Applicants whose legal representative is a woman or a young person aged 18-30 (not yet 30 at the time of submission). These may be PFAs, individual/family businesses, SRLs, micro-enterprises and small enterprises with their registered office or place of business in the LAG territory. Only one project may be submitted per call window.
Which activities score best?
Production activities receive 40 points, while services receive 30. Among priority fields, cultural heritage receives 40 points, sport and leisure 30, education 20, and environment and climate 10. An implementation period of 24 months brings 20 points, and one of 25-36 months, 10. The minimum threshold is 10 points.
Can you buy agricultural machinery or second-hand equipment?
No. Agricultural machinery is not eligible in non-agricultural projects, and second-hand goods and costs incurred before the contract are ineligible. Purchasing land, whether built on or not, is also not eligible under the local list of ineligible costs (although the guide does mention a 10% limit of the support for land in the business plan).
How long does it take to prepare the application?
It depends on the complexity of the project and the documents you already have. The first step is the eligibility analysis, which tells you what needs to be prepared.
What happens if I do not qualify?
