Frequently asked questions

Until when can projects be submitted under the PoCIDIF call "Support for innovative technology projects"?

Projects can be submitted until 16 October 2026, 17:00. The initial deadline was 31 August 2026. The extension was made by MIPE Order No. 1311/20.08.2026.

What is the budget of the call?

The total budget of the two calls is 53,174,731 euro, according to the guide page published by the Ministry of Investments and European Projects.

Who can apply?

SMEs and public-law research organisations can apply, in partnership, under Measure 1.1.2 "Increasing public-private collaboration (research organisations and SMEs)" of PoCIDIF (Smart Growth, Digitalisation and Financial Instruments Programme) 2021-2027.

What is the difference between calls PCIDIF/946 and PCIDIF/947?

Call 1 (PCIDIF/946) funds projects in the more developed region (MDR). Call 2 (PCIDIF/947) funds projects in the less developed regions (LDR). Both calls are competitive, with a submission deadline.

How do you submit the funding application?

The funding application is submitted through the MySMIS2021 electronic application, together with all the annexes required in section 7.4 of the guide. A withdrawn application can be submitted again if it falls within the call deadline.

Who manages the programme?

The Ministry of Investments and European Projects grants the state aid through the PoCIDIF Managing Authority. The scheme is administered by the National Authority for Research, acting as the Intermediate Body for Research.

How long does it take to prepare the application?

It depends on the complexity of the project and the documents you already have. The first step is the eligibility analysis, which tells you what needs to be prepared.

What happens if I do not qualify?

We tell you before any contract is signed, and if another suitable programme exists, we point you to it.
