GAL Inima Câmpiei Transilvane — L802 – United for a competitive agriculture (Intervention 6 of the SDL)
Agricultural companies, cooperatives, composesorate, obști and producer groups in the GAL territory can submit online until 22 October 2026, 23:59. The call window allocation is 100,000 euro, with 65% support and a maximum of 100,000 euro per project.

North-East Regional Programme 2021-2027 — Investments for the modernisation of micro-enterprises, Call 2 (PR/NE/2026/P1/RSO1.3/2/1)
Grants of 100,000–300,000 EUR for micro-enterprises in the North-East: production or service capacity, new technologies, automation, marketing and digitalisation. Budget: 20.37 million EUR. Submission in MySMIS is open until 28 October 2026, 14:00.

PoCIDIF 2.1 — new digital services and products
Grants of 200,000–3,000,000 euro (hardware) or 200,000–1,500,000 euro (software) for ICT SMEs and start-ups developing innovative products. The budget is 48,813,278 euro, and submission in MySMIS2021 has been extended until 30 October 2026, 17:00.

DR-14 AFIR — investments in small farms
Through DR-14, AFIR gives small farms (4,000–11,999 euro SO) up to 50,000 euro per project, at most 85% of eligible costs. The budget of the call window is 108 million euro, across 4 components. Applications are submitted online until 31 October 2026, 16:00.

DR-18 AFIR — investments in floriculture, medicinal and aromatic plants
Through DR-18, AFIR gives farms growing flowers, ornamental, medicinal and aromatic plants up to €100,000 per project (85% or 65% of costs). The budget is €5 million. Online submission is open until 31 October 2026, 16:00, with a threshold of 40 points in October.

SME Eco-Tech — grants for the green and digital transformation of SMEs
MEDAT programme funded from the second Swiss contribution, for micro-enterprises and SMEs in trade, services and production. It offers a grant of up to 40% (no more than 267,240 lei), plus a bank loan of at least 60%, for digitalisation, energy efficiency and green technologies.

Just Transition Participation Fund (FPTJ) – a STEP financial instrument managed by the EIB
A loan in RON from EIB partner banks, with 0% interest on 70% of the amount and a grant of up to 50% (principal reduction) once the investment is completed. For new investments in strategic STEP technologies in Dolj, Gorj, Prahova, Mureș, Hunedoara and Galați.

BID portfolio guarantees for SMEs — 70–80% guarantee for new loans of up to 10 million lei
BID guarantees 70% of SMEs' new bank loans for investment or working capital, up to 10 million lei per transaction. Start-ups, women-owned or women-led businesses, and innovation and sustainability projects receive 80%. You apply through the partner banks.

State aid scheme for products with a trade deficit in the manufacturing industry (HG no. 486/2026)
State aid from the Ministry of Finance, in the form of a grant or tax credit, for SMEs and large enterprises with initial investments of at least 50 million lei in the manufacturing industry. The first call window has 759 million lei.

DR-12 AFIR — consolidation of holdings of established young farmers and farmers up to 45 years of age
On 6 October 2026 AFIR opens the DR-12 call window, with €169.59 million. Established farmers up to 45 years of age and former sM 6.1 beneficiaries can receive up to €200,000 per project, with 80% or 65% non-refundable. Applications can be submitted until 2 December 2026, 16:00.

Diaspora Investește Acasă — BID grant and guarantee for new companies of Romanians in the diaspora
De minimis grant of up to 60% of the investment loan, maximum 200,000 euro, plus a BID guarantee of up to 80% of the loan, for companies less than 3 years old that are majority-owned by Romanians from the diaspora. The programme is currently being made operational.

PR South-West Oltenia 2021-2027 – Support for the development of strategic technologies (STEP)
Grants of 500,000–10 million euro for companies and research organisations in Oltenia that develop or produce critical STEP technologies: digital/deep-tech, clean technologies and biotechnologies. The guide was open for public consultation until 27 August 2026.

South-East Regional Programme 2021-2027: Action 1.6, Operation A.1 – Increasing the competitiveness of micro-enterprises in ITI Danube Delta (call PRSE/1.6/A.1/ITI/1/2026)
Grants of 20,000–200,000 euro (90% non-refundable, de minimis aid) for micro-enterprises in the ITI Danube Delta area. The allocation is 4.82 million euro. The guide has been under consultation, and the call has not yet been launched.

South-Muntenia Regional Programme 2021-2027 — support for clusters (call PRSM/ID/1/1/1.3/D)
Grants of 300,000–1,300,000 euro for clusters in South-Muntenia. The money goes to shared facilities: buildings, equipment and software. The 5.88 million euro call is pending, and the guide went through public consultation in 2025.

PDDTJ Priority 8 — STEP scheme: loans with a grant for critical technologies in 6 counties
Companies in Gorj, Hunedoara, Dolj, Galați, Prahova and Mureș that invest in critical STEP technologies can take out loans of between 300,000 and 50 million euro. 70% of the loan carries zero interest, and up to 50% of the amount can be written off once the investment is completed.

TechUp România — state aid for research and production in advanced technologies (HG 643/2026)
The TechUp România scheme has a budget of 5.313 billion lei (2026–2032) and funds companies that carry out research and development in advanced technologies and then take the results into production. Eligible costs are between 5 and 50 million lei. Submission has not yet opened.
