Micro-enterprises and SMEs in South-Muntenia can receive between €30,000 and €100,000 for research and innovation. The call has a budget of €29.88 million. The mandatory pre-selection questionnaire must be completed by 20 October 2026 (extended deadline).

Call PRSM/414 of the PR South-Muntenia has €71.6 million for urban mobility in county seat municipalities. Municipalities can apply alone or with partners from the functional urban area. A project has an eligible value of between €500,000 and €25 million. Deadline: 20 January 2027, 14:00.

Call PRSM/385 of the PR South-Muntenia has €47.49 million for urban regeneration in county seat municipalities. A project can have an eligible value of €500,000–€9 million, with co-financing of at least 2%. Submission until 8 January 2027, 14:00.

The non-competitive call PRSM/638 has €162.23 million for the energy renovation of public buildings in South-Muntenia, linked to the ELENA Facility. Town halls, county councils and public institutions can obtain €100,000–€5,000,000 per project, until 21 May 2027.

South-Muntenia Regional Programme 2021-2027 — support for clusters (call PRSM/ID/1/1/1.3/D)
Grants of 300,000–1,300,000 euro for clusters in South-Muntenia. The money goes to shared facilities: buildings, equipment and software. The 5.88 million euro call is pending, and the guide went through public consultation in 2025.

PDDTJ Priority 8 — STEP scheme: loans with a grant for critical technologies in 6 counties
Companies in Gorj, Hunedoara, Dolj, Galați, Prahova and Mureș that invest in critical STEP technologies can take out loans of between 300,000 and 50 million euro. 70% of the loan carries zero interest, and up to 50% of the amount can be written off once the investment is completed.

The Ministry of Energy is offering 150 million euro from the Modernisation Fund for new stand-alone battery storage installations owned by companies with CAEN code 35. The aid covers up to 100% of eligible costs, with a maximum of 69,000 euro/MWh and 15 million euro per company.
