Who can apply

Administrative-territorial units (UAT) in the counties of Argeș, Călărași, Dâmbovița, Giurgiu, Ialomița, Prahova and Teleorman: county councils, municipalities, towns and communes. They can apply on their own or in partnership with each other. Private companies are not eligible applicants. The stations must be located along county roads, in urban or rural areas.

Does the town hall have to contribute its own funds to call PRSM/908?

For eligible costs, no: the official call page states beneficiary co-financing of 0%. However, ineligible costs, such as works exceeding the guide's ceilings, and any budget overruns are covered from the local budget.

Can a small commune in South-Muntenia submit a charging station project on its own?

Yes. Communes are eligible applicants individually, as are towns, municipalities and the county councils of Argeș, Călărași, Dâmbovița, Giurgiu, Ialomița, Prahova and Teleorman. The condition is that the investment targets charging infrastructure along a county road in the region.

Can private companies or charging station operators apply?

No. Call PRSM/908 is intended exclusively for administrative-territorial units (UAT) and partnerships between them. Private companies that want charging stations should look at other programmes, for example the national ones for charging infrastructure, such as e-Mobility RO.

What are the minimum and maximum amounts per project?

The non-refundable value is a minimum of 50,000 € and a maximum of 300,000 € per project. The total budget of the call is 2,470,588.24 €, of which 2,100,000 € ERDF and 370,588.24 € from the state budget.

By when and how are projects submitted?

Funding applications are submitted electronically, through MySMIS2021, between 2 June 2026, 08:00, and 2 December 2026, 14:00. The call is competitive, so projects are assessed and ranked after submission, not in order of arrival.

What type of charging stations does the call fund?

The call funds normal and high-power charging infrastructure for light and heavy electric vehicles, located along county roads in South-Muntenia. The implementation area may be urban or rural, and besides the stations, grid connection, associated parking and road safety measures can also be funded.
