Call 2 of the PR South-West Oltenia for rural tourism has 5,882,353 euro for communes with tourist resort status, county councils and their partnerships. A project may be worth between 500,000 and 4,000,000 euro. Applications are accepted until 27 November 2026, 12:00.

PTJ — Green mobility: clean public transport in Craiova and Galați (Priorities 3 and 4)
A non-competitive PTJ call worth 21,825,000 euro for clean public transport in Dolj and Galați. Only the municipalities of Craiova and Galați may apply, through MySMIS2021/SMIS2021+, by 15 December 2026. Galați has been allocated 15 million euro.

Town halls, county councils and energy communities in Gorj, Hunedoara, Dolj, Galați, Prahova and Mureș can obtain grants from a budget of 102,822,173 euro for small-scale renewable energy production and storage capacity.

A loan in RON from EIB partner banks, with 0% interest on 70% of the amount and a grant of up to 50% (principal reduction) once the investment is completed. For new investments in strategic STEP technologies in Dolj, Gorj, Prahova, Mureș, Hunedoara and Galați.

PR South-West Oltenia — integrated territorial strategies for communes (SO 5.2, non-competitive call)
From 31 July 2026, communes in Oltenia can submit their rural territorial strategies to ADR South-West Oltenia. The strategy does not receive money directly. However, its approval is the condition for accessing the 33,435,294 euro under SO 5.2, for cultural heritage and rural tourism.

PR South-West Oltenia 2021-2027 – Support for the development of strategic technologies (STEP)
Grants of 500,000–10 million euro for companies and research organisations in Oltenia that develop or produce critical STEP technologies: digital/deep-tech, clean technologies and biotechnologies. The guide was open for public consultation until 27 August 2026.

PDDTJ Priority 8 — STEP scheme: loans with a grant for critical technologies in 6 counties
Companies in Gorj, Hunedoara, Dolj, Galați, Prahova and Mureș that invest in critical STEP technologies can take out loans of between 300,000 and 50 million euro. 70% of the loan carries zero interest, and up to 50% of the amount can be written off once the investment is completed.

The 7 CEF Transport 2026 calls (CINEA) have €1.1 billion for TEN-T: railways, inland waterways, military mobility, ports, external borders, road digitalisation and the electrification of road freight transport and airports. Deadline: 6 October 2026, 17:00 CEST.

CINEA is accepting applications for CB RES status until 6 October 2026, 17:00 (Brussels time). The status does not bring money directly. Without it, however, cross-border renewable projects cannot apply for funding for works and studies under CEF Energy.

A competitive PEO call worth 26,275,200 euro from the ESF+ for universities with early education programmes and for Ministry of Education (MEC) structures, including the Teaching Staff Houses (Casele Corpului Didactic), that train educators for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Ministry of Energy is offering 150 million euro from the Modernisation Fund for new stand-alone battery storage installations owned by companies with CAEN code 35. The aid covers up to 100% of eligible costs, with a maximum of 69,000 euro/MWh and 15 million euro per company.
