Frequently asked questions
Can a company from Alba Iulia or Brașov apply to the PR Centru 1.4.3 call?
No, not if the investment is not carried out in a locality within ITI Microregiunea Țara Făgărașului or ITI Moții, Țara de Piatră (the Alba County component). The condition concerns the place where the investment is implemented, not the registered office. The list of eligible localities is in the applicant's guide published on regiocentru.ro.
How much can a start-up receive through this call?
The ceiling for start-ups is 100,000 euro, compared with 200,000 euro for other SMEs. Start-ups are exempt from the requirement to have a full fiscal year of activity. The minimum per project remains 25,000 euro, and the non-refundable funding is a maximum of 90%.
How much must the company contribute itself?
The own contribution is at least 10% of the eligible value of the investment, plus all ineligible costs in full. The PR Centru contribution is a maximum of 90% of the eligible value. We recommend covering the 10% from secure sources, for example cash in the account or a loan approved in principle.
When and where are projects submitted?
Submission has not yet started. Applications are submitted exclusively electronically, in MySMIS2021/SMIS2021+, between 16 November 2026, 12:00, and 16 December 2026, 12:00. The submission date is the date the application is submitted through the system, not the date on which document uploading began.
How much money is allocated to each ITI territory?
Of the total budget of 7,647,059 euro, 70% (5,352,941 euro) goes to ITI Țara Făgărașului and 30% (2,294,118 euro) to ITI Moții, Țara de Piatră. The two territories have separate calls in MySMIS, PRC/1057/PRC_P1/OP1 and PRC/1232/PRC_P1/OP1, and projects compete only within their own territory.
What changed with Corrigendum No. 1 to the guide?
Corrigendum No. 1 of 13 October 2026 amends Section 1.3 and Section 3.13 of the guide, as well as Annex 3 and Annex 17. ADR Centru did not detail the content of the changes in its announcement; the full text is on the ADR Centru page, and the consolidated guide on regiocentru.ro. The timetable, budget and per-project ceilings remain those in the call sheet.
How long does it take to prepare the application?
It depends on the complexity of the project and the documents you already have. The first step is the eligibility analysis, which tells you what needs to be prepared.
What happens if I do not qualify?
We tell you before any contract is signed, and if another suitable programme exists, we point you to it.
