Frequently asked questions
Until when can projects be submitted under PoCIDIF 1.3.2?
Projects can be submitted until 30 October 2026, 17:00. The deadline was set by MIPE Order No. 1488 of 25 September 2026, which amends section 4.3.2 of the Applicant's Guide. Submission opened on 31 July 2026, at 10:00.
Who can apply under PoCIDIF Measure 1.3.2?
SMEs, including micro-enterprises, can apply. Research organisations that form part of the national research and development system under Articles 7 and 8 of OG No. 57/2002, whether public or private law, can also apply.
Do private research organisations also receive 100% funding?
Yes. The PoCIDIF Managing Authority's clarification note of 26 August 2026 states that funding of up to 100% applies to all research organisations, whether public or private. The exception is those whose economic activity exceeds 20% of their total activity: they fall under the state aid scheme approved by MIPE Order No. 3284/2023.
What is the budget of the PoCIDIF 1.3.2 call?
The call is worth 13,351,703 euro. The money is split across two calls in MySMIS2021: PCIDIF/951 for less developed regions and PCIDIF/950 for more developed regions.
Where are projects submitted?
Projects are submitted in MySMIS2021, under the call for the region where the project is carried out: PCIDIF/951/PCIDIF_P1/OP1/RSO1.1/PCIDIF_A3 (less developed regions) or PCIDIF/950/PCIDIF_P1/OP1/RSO1.1/PCIDIF_A3 (more developed regions). The call is competitive, with a submission deadline.
