Who can apply

Public hospitals providing outpatient medical care, in which mental health centres for the prevention and treatment of addictions (CSMPTA) operate or will operate, organised in accordance with Ministry of Health Order no. 1562/2025, may apply. They can apply alone or in partnership with central or local public authorities, including UATs and the Municipality of Bucharest, with the Ministry of Health or with public healthcare institutions. The investment must be in the more developed region (Bucharest-Ilfov). By the end of the project, the centre must be authorised.

Public hospitals providing outpatient medical care, in which mental health centres for the prevention and treatment of addictions operate or will operate, may apply (Ministry of Health Order no. 1562/2025). They can apply alone or in partnership with local or central public authorities, the Ministry of Health or public healthcare institutions.

How much must the applicant contribute?

In the more developed region, the ERDF finances 40% of the eligible value. The minimum own contribution is 2% of the managed eligible value, while entities funded from the state budget contribute at least 15%. The remainder is covered from the national budget.

Can a hospital that already has PNRR funding apply?

No, if the hospital has obtained PNRR funding under component 12 (I2.1 and I2.2). The condition is considered met only if, at submission, the applicant proves that the PNRR funding contract has been terminated.
