The total budget is €1.1 billion: COREGEN €350 million, CORECOEN (the cohesion envelope) €260 million, SUSTMOBGEN €200 million, MILMOB (military mobility) €130 million, AFIFGEN €130 million, SAFEMOBGEN €20 million and SIMOBGEN €20 million.

Who can apply to CEF Transport 2026?

One or more Member States, international organisations and public or private entities established in an EU Member State or in a country associated with the CEF, namely Ukraine and Moldova, can apply. For the MILMOB call, the list of eligible countries was updated by Corrigendum No 1 of 30 June 2026.

What national documents does an applicant from Romania need?

Any Romanian beneficiary needs the Letter of Support, that is, the Member State's agreement, endorsed by the Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE). Before MIPE's endorsement, the opportunity opinion of the sectoral authority is required, which for CEF Transport is the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
